What is Woo Network (WOO)?
WOO is the utility token of the Woo Network that connects traders, institutions, exchanges, and DeFi platforms to the best-in-class liquidity, yield generation strategies, and trading services at a minimal cost. The Woo network offers multiple native CeFi and DeFi products like WOO X, a centralized minimal trading platform that lets you enjoy the lowest trading fee (0.03% maker and 0.03% taker fees). It also offers users a threshold to unlock zero fees by staking a minimum of 1800 WOO tokens. Under decentralized products, Woo Network offers WOOFi, a decentralized exchange to provide users enhanced on-chain liquidity, and WOO DEX, a decentralized order book exchange combining the CeFi trading experience with DeFi.
Woo network offers various benefits to WOO token owners. It includes additional trading fee discounts, network rewards, referral bonuses, and a few product-specific advantages. WOO holders who stake WOO tokens on WOOFi get discounts on trading fees. Institutions generating large volumes of WOO X can stake WOO tokens to get higher API trading rate limits and lowered fees. Woo network also plans to make WOO a governance token by giving its holders voting rights over the upcoming proposals of developments.
WOO token was initially issued on Ethereum but now exists on multiple blockchains through cross-chain bridges. These blockchains include Polygon, NEAR Protocol, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Fantom, and many more. It has a deflationary model under which it uses 50% of its monthly revenue to purchase WOO tokens from the market and burn them. The maximum supply of WOO tokens is capped at 3 billion.
